Kathy Condon has been in the real estate industry by way of the association and multiple listing services since 1978. She worked for the MLS of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (MLS-1) until it was sold to MLS Property Information Network (MLS PIN) in February of 1998.
While at GBREB and MLS-1 she served on the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Executive Program Development Committee and holds a number of certifications from NAR to include Fundamentals of Association Management to Certified Professional Standards Administrator, and also received two distinguished service awards from the NAR Board of Directors. She was awarded the coveted NAR Omega Tau Rho medal for outstanding service to the industry in 1996.
Originally hired as Director of Operations for MLS PIN, Kathy was named CEO in late 1998. Since then, MLS PIN has grown its subscriber base from 11,000 to more than 30,000 licensed real estate professionals and has seen an annual revenue increase of 49.5%.
Kathy served as Vice Chairman and then Chairman of the National FNIS Users Group from 1999 – 2004.
A member of the Council of Multiple Listing Services (a national association of multiple listing services similar to MLS PIN); Kathy was elected to serve as a Director of this organization in 2006.
Kathy and/or her organization holds affiliate memberships with most of the local associations.
Kathy works closely with the Central Mass Housing Alliance in support of their goal to end homelessness. MLS PIN works year-round to support the mission of ending homelessness throughout Massachusetts by supporting several local charitable organizations. Kathy also serves as a volunteer trustee for her Condominium Association in Worcester. Most recently, she spent a day doing repair work in New Orleans City Park during the NAR year-end meetings.
In 2007, Kathy’s celebrated her 30-year anniversary in the real estate industry.
