Barbara Clifford is President of Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, a dynamic regional business organization that strives to promote growth, prosperity, and quality of life for its members and communities.

Ms. Clifford has directed Corridor Nine Chamber, located in Westborough, for five years, taking it from an affiliated chamber of 500 members to an independent and vibrant organization of 800 members. Prior to her position with Corridor Nine, Clifford ran a smaller Chamber in the western Maine lakes region for several years. The bulk of her career was spent in the garment industry in New York in a leadership position of a national women’s catalog company.

In addition to the numerous business programs and events that Corridor Nine offers year round, Clifford also hosts a business cable television show called Open for Business. This program is broadcast more than 100 times each month in 10 different towns and cities in the region. It is a fast-paced half hour business program with Clifford hosting three guests discussing business and/or community interest topics.

Currently Barbara Clifford serves on the 495/MetroWest Corridor Partnership Board of Directors, The Worcester Regional Research Bureau Board of Directors and is a Corporator for the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
